Work
as part of a team performing Systems Engineering tasks. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, developing new systems designs, writing and
reviewing systems specifications documents, performing systems level tests,
reviewing detailed hardware and software designs, assisting with flight tests,
mentoring junior engineers and leading small project teams. Hourly rate is
based on experience. Full and part-time employee and contractor positions available.
Positions will last from 9 months to 1+ years.

Requirements
Experience
must include working in an avionics development environment. Our team is
seeking approximately 20 individuals with varying experience writing and
reviewing systems requirements and systems validation test procedures/cases. A
strong knowledge of DO- 160, DO-178B and/or DO-254 processes is essential
to this position. A minimum of a BSEE or BSME, with 5 to 8 or more years of
directly related experience is required.
Experience with systems safety including failure mode and
effects analysis (FMEA) is a plus. We will be looking to this person to
demonstrate experience in project management to include a background in working
with program level schedules and budgets. We are looking for both senior
and junior level engineers, candidates should have a demonstrated ability
to develop consensus, take initiative to eliminate barriers and foster an
environment of creativity and innovation.
