Design Migration
New product development has always taken precedence over modifications and/or updating older designs. The costs and time to re-spin printed circuit boards; standardize all designs in your inventory or just simply modify older but usable boards has been prohibitive. But in today's competitive market, companies are beginning to realize the potential revenue that can be generated by tapping into proven technologies sitting in their inventory.
Design Migration is the process of transferring printed circuit board data from an obsolete EDA platform into a more current or preferred platform. Existing Gerber data, schematic files, bill of materials and mechanical drawings are all that is required to make this conversion. Integrity will provide you with a fully synchronized board file and schematic in the desired EDA tool you require within 5 to 10 days at a fraction of the cost of laying out a new board.
For example; a fairly complex 12 layer board could take approximately 180 hours to complete. With an internal company designer rate of about $160/hour, the company would be paying about $28,000 to re-layout this board. Integrity can take the same data and re-layout the same board in about 5 days for a cost of $8,000. This is a 78% reduction in time of completion and a 72% savings in cost.
