Asia and the Environment
I spend a lot of time reading press releases in order to stay on top of developments in technology. Over the last year, I've noticed that articles dealing with renewable energy, sustainability and the environment for Asian projects outnumber those in North America by a margin of about four to one. Most of these releases deal with China and India.
Why is that? Is it because environmental issues just aren't news here, but they are there? Or are there really that many more projects going on in Asia? Anybody have some ideas about this?
